Wayne & Marie Crowder
For the sixth year in a row, Wayne & Marie Crowder are the organizers of the Triangle Open. Both are Championship Adjudicators and members of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.
Dancing With Wolves
Dancing With Wolves is the Ballroom Dance Club at NC State University. They have had the privilege of hosting the Triangle Open since the beginning.
Master of Ceramonies
Yang Chen
Yang Chen has been dancing for more than twenty years and is currently the President of the Greater New York USA Dance Chapter. Yang has extensive experience as a Master of Ceremonies of many ballroom competitions including the Manhattan Amateur Classic, NJ DanceSport Classic, National Qualifying Events in Bethesda, Maryland, Knoxville, Tennessee and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the USA Dance National Championships and numerous collegiate events, including the DC DanceSport Inferno. He lives in New York City, and yes, his first name is pronounced “young.”

This will be Dan's fourth year serving as Chairman of Judges.
Adjudicators
Susie Buck
Susie Buck is a professional International Standard and Latin dancer from Rochester, New York. She has achieved her Ballroom and Latin Licentiate Degree from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance of London, England, and her Ballroom and Latin Licentiate Degree from the Canadian Dance Teacher’s Association. Susie is also a registered adjudicator with the National Dance Council of America. Susie has achieved on the dance floor as a professional competitor. She has danced around Canada and the United States competing in Ballroom and Latin. She has placed in the Rising Star Finals at the United States Championships and was a 10 dance finalists at the 2001 Star Challenge in Canada and Heritage Classic Dancesport Championships in 2005 in the United States.
Dan Calloway
Dan has been competing, coaching and adjudicating for almost 30 years. He is an Asian-Pacific and United States Professional 10-Dance Grand Finalist and has been a Dual Fellow in the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing for twenty years. Dan works frequently as a Chairman of Judges and is a certified National Judge. Among the many professional competitions he has won and titles he has earned are several “Professional of the Year” awards. Dan is the dancesport coach for Georgetown University and the University of Maryland, as well as a regular guest coach at several other universities
Lori Woods Gay

Description: Lori has been teaching dance for over 30 years. In addition to many top teacher awards she has also competed professionally and in the pro/am divisions where she is a former champion in the American Style Smooth and Theatrical categories. She is a dual Fellow and Examiner with the ISTD and her Current specialty is training candidates for exams.
Steve Hadley
Former Championship finalist. Represented the United States at the European Cup Championships. Former Chairman of the Southeastern Dance Board for Auther Murray, Inc. Former Member of the International Dance Board for Arthur Murray, Inc. Fellow of the North American Dance Teachers Assoication in International Standard, Latin, American Smooth, Rhythm, and Theater Arts. World Class Adjudicator.

John began dancing in 1988 and turned pro one year later. Among his numerous achievements are: - US Finalist in American Smooth & Rhythm - Ohio Star Ball Finalist in American Smooth & Rhythm - 2004 US Rising Star Rhythm Champion - Championship Certified Adjudicator (Terpsichore)
Patti Panebianco
Kim Smith
Kim Smith is classified as a Championship Adjudicator with the NDCA. She holds both fellowships and memberships with the North American Teachers Association. She has been teaching dance for over 25 years and is a former professional competitor. Kim is the owner and operator of Dr. Dance Studio, Inc. in Birmingham Alabama.
Scrutineer
Ava Kaye
Ava has been the Scrutineer of the USA Dance National Championships for the last three years. We are fortunate to have her expertise at the Triangle Open Championships.
